If He chose you, He’s already equipped you.
If He chose you, He’s already equipped you.

Think about the moment you were picked for the job, selected for the team, or given the lead role in a performance.

It feels good, right?

Now, imagine being chosen by God.

How does that compare?

That’s exactly what happened to Jeremiah. In Jeremiah 1, God tells him, "I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born, I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations."

And how does Jeremiah respond? “Lord, I’m not a good speaker, and I’m too young.”

Sound familiar?

We do this all the time—downplaying what God has already equipped us for. We doubt our abilities. We question our worth. We forget that if God calls us, He also equips us.

Confidence Comes from God

"The Lord said: 'Jeremiah, I am your Creator, and before you were born, I chose you to speak for me to the nations.'”Jeremiah 1:4-5 (CEV)🔗 Read More

You were designed with a purpose. God, the Author and Illustrator of your life, made no mistakes in forming you. He gave you every tool you need: confidence, faith, and favor.

Yet, how often do we let doubt take the lead?

How often do we let man tell us we’re not qualified, not good enough, not ready?

Here’s the truth:

With God, you are already prepared.

With God, no rejection can block your purpose.

With God, confidence isn’t arrogance—it’s assurance in His calling.

Man can try to disqualify you, but God makes room for you.

When it’s in His will, He removes obstacles, shifts rooms, and opens doors that no one can shut.

Walk in Confidence

When He places you in a room to speak, the words will flow.

When He places you in front of the mortgage officer, know the house is approved.

When He calls you to lead, the position is already yours.

Confidence isn’t about being cocky. It’s about knowing who you are and whose you are. You were created for this. Walk in it.

Reflection Question:

What area of your life are you not feeling confident in?

How can you shift your mindset to trust that God has already equipped you?
