A Hunger for More of God
Have you ever had a meal so good that you couldn’t help but go back for another plate?
That’s how God’s presence is. He’s so good that once you experience Him, you can’t help but want more. But here’s the key—we want more of Him, not just more from Him.
Seeking God Beyond Requests
One of the most powerful things about fasting is that no two encounters with God are the same. Each time you sit with Him, He reveals something new, fresh, and powerful.
When you truly seek Him, you’ll find yourself praying:
“Give me more, Father. I seek more of You… Pour into me like never before!”
This hunger pleases God.
When He sees that your heart is longing for Him—not just His blessings—He draws even closer to you. He wants to fill you up.
God Wants Relationship, Not Just Requests
Think about how you would feel if people constantly pulled from you but never poured into you. You’d feel drained, unappreciated, and used.
Now imagine how God feels when we only go to Him for blessings and breakthroughs but never for intimacy, worship, or gratitude.
The beautiful thing about our God is that He gives us new opportunities every day to sit with Him, seek Him, and make things right.
🛐 He forgives freely.
🛐 He desires relationship.
🛐 He loves when we long for more of Him.
So today, take time to sit with God—not to ask for anything, but just to be with Him. Hunger for His presence. Watch what happens when He becomes your priority.
The more you seek Him, the more you’ll desire Him.
