Time to Reengage

Sin is easy, but salvation is just as near. God’s grace stands ready to meet us each day, yet we often hesitate feeling like surrendering to Him means missing out on the world’s pleasures.
The truth is that the more you walk in God’s salvation, the more you see that you lose nothing of eternal value and gain everything that truly matters.
God’s grace does more than forgive; it renews.
Your past choices do not define who you are becoming. Every day is an invitation to reengage with Him intentionally. Jeremiah 29:13 assures us that when we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him. This requires full submission and a willingness to empty ourselves before the Lord sometimes in fasting, often in setting aside worldly distractions.
True engagement with God is not partial; it asks for a heart that chooses Him over everything else.
Consider the small sacrifices that bring big spiritual rewards: skipping a hangout for Bible study, trading leisure for prayer, or filling your ears with worship instead of secular noise. The cost might be your social “cool,” but the return is priceless: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are the fruit of the Spirit, blessings the world cannot offer.
Reflection Questions:
1. What steps are you willing to take to deepen your engagement with God today?
2. How will you respond when friends or family resist the changes you are making for your spiritual growth?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to humble myself before You and resist the distractions that pull me away from Your presence. Teach me to seek You with my whole heart and to treasure the lasting fruit of Your Spirit over the temporary approval of the world.
Amen.
