As we progress through this transformative season, understanding our true selves becomes paramount. Sometimes, we find ourselves pondering our purpose, feeling stagnant in our lives. I was one of those individuals.

During a particular phase, I grappled with a profound sense of uncertainty about my life’s purpose. I harbored dreams and visions of achieving certain goals, yet self-doubt held me back. The presence of doubt paralyzed my progress.

Years later, as I delved deeper into the Word of God and embarked on a fasting journey, God unveiled my purpose. Now, I walk in it with unwavering confidence. However, I must admit that there were internal struggles as I faced doubt once again. It persisted, eroding my confidence.

During my fasting, I stumbled upon Ephesians 2:10, where Paul reminds us that we are God’s workmanship, not the products of our doubts. He emphasizes that:

God transformed and created us to accomplish great things and fulfill our purpose. Doubt, no matter how formidable, cannot surpass God’s calling over our lives.

Since God has ordained a purpose for each of us, we are destined to succeed in it. This is why fasting and seeking solace in God’s presence are crucial. During these moments, we can transcend our own thoughts and surrender to God’s control. He fills us with our purpose and the design for it, enabling us to walk in full confidence.

Imagine the impact that could have had if we had not walked in our purpose. It could have saved or transformed the lives of those close to us. The discomfort of doubt would pale in comparison to the profound sense of fulfillment that comes from fulfilling our true calling.

Let us continue this transformative journey, seeking to understand our purpose and walk in it with unwavering faith.

Let’s E.A.T.

“For we are His own masterwork, a work of art, created in Christ Jesus. He reborn us from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and ready to be used for good works. God prepared these works beforehand, taking the paths He set, so that we could walk in them and live the good life He prearranged and made ready for us. [Rom 1:20]”
