The Grass Isn’t Always Greener
You ever hear the saying, “The grass isn’t always greener on the other side”?
It’s true more often than we realize.
We say, "I can’t wait to be rich," then get rich and realize it doesn’t bring the happiness we expected.
We say, "I can’t wait to get that promotion," only to find out it wasn’t what we thought it would be.
That’s because when we follow the world’s blueprint instead of God’s plan, it leads to temporary fulfillment and lasting discomfort.
Why Discomfort Creeps In
The unhappiness comes when we:
❌ Try to maintain a lifestyle that’s beyond our means.
❌ Try to please people who don’t even care about us.
❌ Pursue positions or titles that weren’t meant for us.
But when something is backed by God, it is different.
✅ No confusion.
✅ No struggle to fit in.
✅ No emptiness.
Instead, there’s peace, joy, and fulfillment. That’s because we are walking in our God-given destiny.
What You See is Temporary—God is Eternal
Everything in this world fades.
📌 The social media influencer who is hot today—gone tomorrow.
📌 The rapper or singer who tops the charts today—forgotten tomorrow.
📌 The corporate executive in a high position—replaced tomorrow.
But with God, there is no “here today, gone tomorrow.”

His plans over your life don’t change based on trends, titles, or popularity. So instead of chasing what looks good for the moment, trust what God has planned for eternity. Be happy with who you are and where you are—because when you walk with God, your future is secure.
