This Is Your Floor

As we come to the close of 21 days of the Elevate Fast, recognize this truth: you have reached a new floor in your life.
Another way to say it is: You’ve reached a new level.
I once watched a video where a man explained how elevators work. He described how each floor represents something you leave behind and something new you gain as you go higher. That concept stayed with me and became one of the inspirations for the Elevate Fast this year.
Elevation always requires separation.
There comes a time in life when we must clearly identify what and who we can no longer take with us. Not everything belongs on the next floor. Some habits, mindsets, relationships, and distractions must be left behind if we are going to elevate. We cannot keep taking the elevator back down to the lobby. It’s time to go higher.
And when you reach the top, you don’t stop. You move to the next building one that’s bigger, stronger, and built for what’s next.
God never intended for your life to be small. His plan was always for you to be aligned with Him so you could grow and help grow others through salvation. When you study Scripture, you’ll notice that everything God does is big. He parts seas, slays giants, and destroys nations.
So ask yourself:
What can you do as a child of God?
Philippians 4:13 reminds us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” That verse isn’t just encouragement it’s a call to action.
This year, because you are on a new floor:
Start the business
Take charge of your health
Lead your family
Restore your marriage
Seek forgiveness
Change your mindset
God makes all things new every day, and through this fast, He has made you new as well.
This is not the time to go backward. This is not the season to revisit what God already helped you leave. This is the time to elevate. To step into what God is about to introduce you to in this new season of your life.
Fasting doesn’t end in January. Fasting is not a program it’s a lifestyle. Whether it’s once a week or however the Lord leads you, incorporate fasting into your spiritual toolkit.
When you are intentional with God, fasting will change your life. This is the lifestyle God has designed for you.
This is your floor.
Stand on it.
Build on it.
And don’t go back down.
Reflection:
Before you close this page, pause.
Take 5 minutes to watch the short video below. It’s more than just an explanation of how elevators work; it’s a metaphor for how God elevates us in life. Each new floor isn't just a physical ascent, it's a spiritual one. Every level requires letting go of what was, so you can receive what is and prepare for what will be.

Let this visual moment stir your heart.
Ask yourself:
1. What has God shown you during this fast that you need to leave on the lower floor?
2. What new responsibility, opportunity, or calling is waiting for you on this level?
3. How can you make fasting and prayer a consistent lifestyle rather than a seasonal practice?
4. What is one intentional step you will take this week to walk in elevation?
Prayer
Father God,
Thank You for walking with me through these 21 days of fasting, prayer, and elevation.
Thank You for revealing what I need to release and where You are calling me to rise.
Help me to remain humble under Your mighty hand so that You may exalt me at the proper time.
Give me the strength to stand on this new floor and the wisdom to build well.
I commit this new season to You and declare that I will not go backward, but forward in faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer of Salvation
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or if you desire to recommit your life to Him, pray this prayer:
Lord Jesus,
I confess that I am a sinner and that I need You.
I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day.
Today, I turn away from my old life and ask You to forgive me.
Come into my heart, be my Lord, and be my Savior.
I surrender my life to You and choose to follow You from this day forward.
Thank You for saving me, renewing me, and giving me new life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
