Day 1 – What’s Tempting You?

📖 Luke 4:1-4 (AMP)"Now Jesus, full of [and in perfect communication with] the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they ended, He was hungry. Then the devil said to Him, 'If You are the Son of God, command this stone to turn into bread.' Jesus replied to him, 'It is written and forever remains written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’’”🔗 Read More

Stepping Into the Fast with a New Strategy

Men of God, as we enter this season of fasting, we are emptying ourselves of everything that is not of Him so that we may be filled with the Holy Spirit—the Spirit that has never left us and resides in our hearts.

But here’s the truth: we cannot step into the new season with an old strategy. Just as Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, we too will face moments where our flesh craves what we have set aside. But instead of giving in, we must unleash a new game plan—one that the enemy cannot defeat.

In this season, we are putting down the things our flesh desires and even the things we once thought we needed for our success. Instead, we will pick up the Word of God, our ultimate strength. We will kneel before Him, retreat to our quiet places, and call upon the Father.

God expects three things from us:

Fast – to deny the flesh and strengthen our spirit.

Pray – to open our hearts and commune with Him.

Give – to pour out from what we have received.

If we expect growth, prosperity, and abundance this year, we must ask ourselves:

  • What are we willing to give back to the Lord?

  • What will we put down to sit with Him?

Temptation will come—but when it does, stand firm and declare: “Get behind me, Satan!” (Luke 4:8)

You are not alone.

He has never left you nor forsaken you.

You are more than a conqueror.

You are victorious!
