You Can’t Go into a New Season with the Same Garments

When the seasons change, so does the world around us. The weather shifts, the colors outside transform, and everything takes on a new appearance. Just like putting on a fresh outfit can make you feel different—more confident, more renewed—embracing a new spiritual season requires a change as well.

Wearing old garments can make you feel like it’s just another ordinary day, but it’s not. God is doing something new in you. 2 Corinthians 4:16 reminds us: "Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day."

This fast is God’s time to work in you and through you. The things you are setting aside are making room for Him to fill you, strengthen you, and renew your mind.

Think about how music enters your ears, settles in your mind, and eventually shapes how you think and act. The same is true for what you feed your spirit. When you fast, pray, and focus on God's Word, you start to walk in His promises, speaking them over your life until they manifest.

Every season in your life will not be the same. There will be highs and lows. But when your mind is renewed through God's truth, you can handle the lows with grace and give thanks in all circumstances.

The trials you face aren’t meant to break you—they are designed to strengthen and equip you for the journey ahead.

So today, put down the old garments—the mindsets, habits, and distractions that no longer serve you—and step into the newness of God’s promises. This is the season to walk differently, think differently, and move forward with renewed confidence.

Let’s E.A.T. (Everlasting Anointed Teachings).
